Health material assistance to the media personnel deployed in the field
KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MAY 13, 2021 – The Kathmandu branch of the Nepal Press Union has provided health materials to the journalists working in the field during the Corona transition. As soon as the second phase of Corona infection was seen with the new variant, the Kathmandu branch of the union reached various media houses in the valley and provided health materials including masks and sanitizers to the journalists.
The union distributed health items to journalists working for Prime Times Television, Himalaya Television and AP1 Television on Wednesday, branch president Jagannath Dulal told RSS. The Kathmandu branch has stated that it will distribute health items in the media houses including Avenues, Global and Image in the coming days.
According to Chairman Dulal, 500 mask and 10 bottles of sanitizer will be distributed. During the Corona transition last year, the Kathmandu branch of the Press Union distributed yellow jackets with a press note to more than 400 journalists working in Kathmandu. – RSS
