Krishna Thapa expelled from Rastriya Janamorcha parliamentary party leader
KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2021 – Rastriya Janamorcha has removed Krishna Thapa from the post of parliamentary party leader in Gandaki.
Janamorcha General Secretary Manoj Bhatta has stated that he was removed from the party leadership for not following the decision of the Janamorcha Central Committee meeting held with Thapa on Baisakh 10 and 12.
General Secretary Bhatta informed the Parliament Secretariat that Thapa had been removed from the post of state parliamentary party leader.
The meeting had decided to form a new government in Gandaki in collaboration with the Nepali Congress, the Maoist Center and the Janata Samajwadi Party.
According to the Janamorcha, he was removed from the post of party leader after he violated the party’s decision to support the Congress-Maoist and JSP-led opposition alliance to form a new government in Gandaki.
