MANILA: WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2021 – A magnitude 5.8 earthquake shook the region of Occidental Mindoro in the Philippines on Wednesday.

The epicenter was reported at 9:09 a.m. local time on Wednesday, with the epicenter about 110 kilometers below the ground, according to the Philippine Earthquake Measurement Center.

The epicenter was reported below the ground, however; no tsunami alert was issued. The quake was also felt in Metro Manila.
