Establishment of Covid 19 help center in the federation

KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2021 – The Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) has set up a COVID-19 help desk to help prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.

A recent meeting of FNCCI officials and concerned officials has decided to set up the help center. The center will be coordinated by FNCCI Senior Vice President Chandra Prasad Dhakal. Responsibility has also been shared to run the Covid-19 help center effectively.

The responsibility of oxygen cylinder management has been given to Ram Chandra Sanghai and Saurabh Jyoti. Similarly, Hemraj Dhakal and Rabin Shrestha have been given the responsibility of facilitating the hospital and isolation center.

Hospital management has been given to Deshbandhu Basnet, Babukaji Karki and Dr. Keyur Gautam. Ranjit Raj Acharya has been given the responsibility of managing the ambulance and isolation center. Similarly, Prabal Jung Pandey and Bhakta Hamal have been given charge of medicine and medical equipment. Jyotsana Shrestha, Binayak Shah and Binod Sapkota have been given the responsibility of hotel and air transport management.

Hari Poudyal (9801096812) and Rinku Ghimire (9801192591), the liaison officers of the FNJ Secretariat, can be contacted by telephone or SMS to get the services from the help center.

The federation has stated that the members will take initiative with the concerned bodies for facilitation and coordination to provide services as per the demands of the members, entrepreneurs and the general public as per the responsibilities assigned to the help center.

Under the FNCCI Operation Covid Relief Nepal Campaign, the federation has already started providing Hello Doctor service and giving health counseling to the people suffering from covid infection.
