Quick Response Team Formation
TANAHUN: WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2021 – A quick response team has been formed in Tanahun district to coordinate the treatment of Corona infections. The meeting of the District Crisis Management Center has formed a four-member team under the coordination of Assistant Chief District Officer Chitrangat Baral.
The members of the team are Yuvaraj Timilsina, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Tanahun, Dr. Poudel, Medical Superintendent, Damauli Hospital and Shankar Babu Adhikari, Chief, Health Office, Tanahun. The hospital and the administration have been criticized after an old man of Bhanu Municipality lost his life in an ambulance outside Damauli Hospital on Sunday.
The meeting also decided to operate and manage a collective isolation center in the old building of the Agriculture Development Bank in Damauli with the facility of health workers and oxygen for the needy people who do not have a place to live in home isolation. The meeting has also decided to provide adequate health supplies and medicines in each health institution, and at each local level to manage the vehicles, hearses, PPL and other materials required to manage the corpses in case of death of the infected.
To keep in touch with the head of the local level health department with the infected in the home isolation and in the health institution, to coordinate with the head of the concerned hospital when the infected has to be taken to the hospital for further treatment, to arrange treatment for the infected.
It has been decided to coordinate with the hospital where specialist doctors should be sent to Pokhara and other hospitals for treatment. Similarly, the monitoring committee formed with the head of the health department at the local level has decided to make it responsible for the monitoring of home isolation and quarantine. – RSS
