Conversion of people’s representative vehicle to ambulance
TANAHUN: WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2021 – The Bandipur Village Municipality of Tanahun has decided to use the vehicle used by the officials as an ambulance. As the number of Corona infections increased, the ambulance could not be reached on time.
At present, there is only one ambulance in the Village Municipality and the ambulance has been made for the convenience of the people, said village chairman Purna Singh Thapa. There is a dilapidated ambulance in Bandipur at present. “As it is old, it can be deceived at any time. That is why we made an ambulance for the vehicle we were riding in as a precaution,” Thapa said.
The municipality had twice called for information to purchase an ambulance but the municipality could not procure an ambulance during that period. “Information was sought to buy an ambulance, but no ambulance was found,” he said.
The municipality has also prepared a 15-bed isolation at Bandipur Hospital for the treatment of Corona infected. The isolation currently has 10 oxygen cylinders in stock and the police have also recovered 10 cylinders collected from Dumre. “Bandipur Village Municipality is preparing for the treatment of Covid infected people,” Thapa said. – RSS
