Damauli Hospital has started treatment for Covid infection

DAMAULI: WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2021 – Damauli Hospital has started treatment for Covid infection. The hospital has started treatment of Covid infected by admitting patients from Tuesday. Medical Superintendent of the hospital Dr. Sunil Poudel informed that five infected people are being treated at the hospital. According to him, treatment has been started for four Byans Rural Municipality and one Myagdi infected person. All are infected with pneumonia. The infected have been given oxygen.

“All the infected people have pneumonia in their lungs, they have been given oxygen and essential medicines,” said Dr Poudel. According to him, arrangements have been made to treat 16 infected people at the hospital. Dr. Poudel said that the bed would be filled today. The hospital had converted the general ward into a Covid room. The hospital also said that efforts are being made to add more beds in the area. The hospital has already prepared beds with seven ICUs and four ventilators. – RSS
