Corona among 12 health workers in Doti

DOTI: WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2021 – Corona infection has been detected in 12 health workers in the district who are at the forefront of Corona control and prevention. Surya Bista, family planning inspector at the district health office, said that at least 12 health workers in the district have been infected with corona so far. According to him, one of the infected is a health assistant and the other is anonymous. All infected health workers are placed in home isolation. His condition is said to be critical.

According to the District Health Office, two of the 12 health workers in Jorayal, three in K.I. Singh, four in Adarsha, one in Badikedar and two in Purvi Chouki have tested positive for Corona Virus. Citizens have been able to get treatment after seeing Corona infection in health workers. Rajendra Fulara, focal person of the district hospital, said that there was a problem in the treatment of other patients after the health workers assigned to treat the corona infected themselves.

Similarly, two employees of the Area Health Office in Gadsera of Jorayal Rural Municipality-5 of the district have tested positive for Corona Virus. Anami Vidhi Bhandari said that all the services except emergency services provided by the health institution have been stopped due to the infection in the staff. He said, “Corona has been confirmed in two health workers working in the organization. We have stopped services other than emergency.”

The health office has issued a notice stating that all services except emergency will be closed till Jestha 2. According to the locals, there is a problem in the treatment of the patients who come to the health institution after the health office has stopped the service. – RSS
