Arrested for cutting a cow

LAHAN: TUESDAY, MAY 11, 2021 – Police have arrested two persons on the charge of slaughtering a cow while one has absconded. Police have arrested two locals on the basis of a complaint lodged by a local alleging that a cow was slaughtered at Milan Chowk in Lahan Municipality-2. Police did not want to divulge the names of the two arrested saying that revealing their names could affect the investigation.

According to Dr. Tapan Kumar Dahal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Area Police Office, Lahan, his wife and wife’s brother have been arrested. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Dahal said that a case has been registered against the two arrested and a search is on for the fugitive. – RSS
