Chairman Deuba called a meeting of office bearers

KATHMANDU: TUESDAY, MAY 11, 2021 – Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of office bearers. A meeting of office bearers has been called at 3 pm at Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha.

After President Bidya Devi Bhandari called on the parties to form a new government as per Article 76 (2) of the constitution, a meeting of office bearers was convened to discuss the issue, said Deuba’s personal secretary Bhanu Deuba. The meeting will take initiative to form a new government and discuss possible alliance.

After the meeting of party officials, the Congress is preparing to discuss the formation of a new government with the CPN-Maoist, Jaspa and other parties.
