Isolation center in Chandragiri from Jestha 1

KATHMANDU: TUESDAY, MAY 11, 2021 – The Chandragiri Municipality is going to run an isolation center for the treatment of Covid-19 infected people. The municipality is preparing to operate the center in the building under construction of the community hospital at Ward No. 8 Matatirtha from Jestha 1.

Ward Chairman Santosh Khadka informed that an isolation center of 100 beds will be constructed from 30 beds with oxygen. Khadka, coordinator of the social development committee of the city, said that the government vehicle used by the ward office would be used as an ambulance.

Ram Mani Ghimire, chief of the health branch of the municipality, said that a group of doctors, health workers and others would provide 24-hour service in isolation at the center.

Two thousand 663 people have been infected and 26 people have died in the municipality so far. Currently, 390 people are actively infected in Chandragiri municipality. – RSS
