Another 13 civilians were killed and 37 injured in Afghanistan
KABUL: MONDAY, MAY 10, 2021 – At least 13 people have been killed in two separate bomb blasts in Afghanistan’s war-torn province of Zabul and Parwan.
According to police, 37 others were injured in the blast on Sunday. According to the Afghan Interior Ministry, 11 civilians were killed and 28 were injured in the attack. Civilians have been injured in the blast.
The blast targeted a passenger bus in the Shahr-e-Safa district of Zabul on Sunday evening, the ministry said.
Similarly, two persons were killed and nine others injured when a landmine exploded targeting a passenger bus at Pul-e-Matak area of Parwan province on Monday morning.
Chief of Parwan Hospital Dr Qasim Sangin informed that the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. Women and children have been injured in the incident. The Taliban has not commented on the allegations made by government officials. – ANI
