These eight districts where there is no prohibitory order


KATHMANDU: MONDAY, MAY 10, 2021 – As the Covid-19 infection is on the rise in the country, various districts have issued prohibitory order to control it. The ban, which was issued on Baisakh 7, has reached 69 districts so far.
Pursuant to Sub-section 2 of the Infectious Diseases Control Act, 2020, the government had given the right to issue prohibitory order or other necessary order to 200 active people in hilly and mountainous districts and 500 active infected people in Kathmandu Valley and Terai.
Now, only eight districts in Nepal have to issue prohibitory order. The remaining districts are Manang, Mustang, Terhathum, Khotang, Bhojpur, Panchthar, Lamjung and Rukum East. The Ministry of Home Affairs has declared 68 districts in full and partial in Solukhumbu.
