Oxygen plant came, not used

JAJARKOT: MONDAY, MAY 10, 2021 – An oxygen plant has been stalled at the health service office for the past two weeks. Amar Singh Shahi, acting chief of the health service office in Dolpa, said that the patients were brought to the district and the problem was solved. Shahi informed that there was no biomedical engineer to connect the plant that reached Dolpa two weeks ago.
The plant was purchased by Dragon Meditech Pvt. Ltd. Surkhet for Rs. 2.9 million. Saying that there is no biomedical engineer, the company is delaying the connection of the plant, said Shahi.
According to Shahi, even after repeated mentions, they have two biomedical engineers, so they have not been able to go everywhere. According to Dr. Melina Hamal, the plant, which is currently parked in the office, can produce 40 liters of oxygen per hour and supply oxygen through at least 25 to 30 beds at a time. – RSS
