At least 15 people have been killed in a landslide at a gold mine in Guinea

CONAKRY: SUNDAY, MAY 9, 2021 – At least 15 people have been killed in a landslide at a gold mine in southeastern Guinea’s West African country of Guinea.

Local Red Cross officials said other people may have been buried inside the mine. The landslide started from the top of the hill and fell on the mine. Officials said they could not confirm whether the workers were trapped inside the mine or hit by a rock. – XINHUA
