Nine Corona Infected died at Teaching Hospital in Morang

MORANG: SUNDAY, MAY 9, 2021 – Nine people died at two teaching hospitals in Morang on Sunday morning due to Corona infection.

A 54-year-old infected woman of Itahari Sub-Metropolis-4 of Sunsari has died on Sunday while undergoing treatment at the Covid Center of Birat Teaching Hospital at Budi Ganga in Morang. Sunil Dev, in-charge of the hospital, said that the deceased was admitted for treatment on Baisakh 24 after the Covid was confirmed.

A 66-year-old infected man of Dharan Sub-metropolitan Municipality-17 died at the Nobel Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar on Sunday morning, said hospital manager Narayan Dahal. Similarly, a 76-year-old infected man of Triveni Chowk in Biratnagar-1 died at the same hospital this morning.

Similarly, a 38-year-old infected woman of Kalyanpur-4 of Siraha died at the same hospital on Sunday morning. Manager Dahal said that the deceased was admitted for treatment on Baisakh 25.

A 60-year-old infected man of Mechi Municipality-6, Jhapa died on Saturday night while undergoing treatment. He was admitted to the hospital on Baisakh 23 for treatment.

Similarly, a 39-year-old infected woman of Urlabari Municipality-6 of Morang died at the same hospital on Saturday night. A 32-year-old infected man of Bodebarsain Municipality-10 of Saptari has died at the same hospital on Saturday evening.

Manager Dahal said that the deceased was admitted to the same hospital for treatment on Baisakh 22. Similarly, a 77-year-old man from Dhanusha died on Saturday while undergoing treatment. Manager Dahal informed that he was admitted for treatment on Baisakh 17.

A 53-year-old man from Saptari died at the same hospital on Saturday evening. The deceased was admitted to the hospital on Baisakh 24 for treatment.
