KATHMANDU: SUNDAY, MAY 9, 2021 – Himalayan Distillery Limited has earned a net profit of Rs. 672.7 million in the third quarter of the current fiscal year. It had earned a net profit of Rs 437.1 million in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. This is an increase of 53.89 percent over the same period last fiscal year.

The company has sold a total of Rs 3.89 billion. In the corresponding period of the previous year, the total sales were Rs. 3.57 billion. The sales amount is 9 percent higher than the same period of the previous fiscal year.

The company has distributed 50 percent bonus shares to the shareholders from the last fiscal year’s profit. The company’s earnings per share (EPS) reached Rs 103.38, according to the company’s statement. . EPS was Rs 100.76 in the same period last year. The company’s liquidity ratio has risen from 1.96 to 2.74.

The company said that the increase in profit was due to the high quality of its products, increased productivity, additional marketing and full consumer confidence in the brand’s reputation. Similarly, profit has also improved due to efficient management.
