Entrepreneurs donated 67 oxygen cylinders

KATHMANDU: SUNDAY, MAY 9, 2021 – The industrialists of Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta East) have provided oxygen cylinders used in the industry for the treatment of infected Corona. The industrialists have collected 67 oxygen cylinders and made them available to the District Police Office to be used for Corona infected patients.

At the request of the District Covid-19 Crisis Management Center (DCCMC), 33 units of oxygen and 34 units of oxygen cylinders were collected from the entrepreneurs operating in different places of the district, said District Police Spokesperson Deputy Superintendent of Police Dilip Kumar Giri.

Giri said that the cylinders collected by the police were kept at the District Police Office and subordinate offices. Giri informed that the oxygen cylinders collected by the police from the businessmen would be made available to the Corona infected patients in the district immediately.

According to Giri, the businessman handed over the cylinders to the businessman after the police requested him to provide oxygen cylinders as per the decision of DCCMC. Oxygen cylinders are collected from grill industry, workshops, quad shops, metal working industries and businesses. The number of active infected people of Covid has reached 725 in the district so far and 12 people have lost their lives due to Covid-19 infection in the last 25 days. – RSS
