One killed, eight injured in lightning strike

MUSIKOT: FRIDAY, MAY 7, 2021 – One person has been killed and eight others injured in a lightning strike in Musikot Municipality. The deceased has been identified as Karishma Gaha, 18, of Dajakot in Musikot Municipality-4, according to the District Police Office. Gaha died on the way to the hospital.

Juni Gaha, 42, Melina Gaha, 18, Zenit Gaha, 18, Tul Bahadur Gaha, 38, Ujur Singh Gaha, 60, Fatikala Gaha, 55, Chitra Bahadur Gaha, 32 and Jyoti Gaha was injured, said Superintendent of Police Gopal Chandra Bhattarai. Four of the injured have been shifted to Palpa for further treatment while four others are undergoing treatment at Gulmi Hospital. Their face and body have been injured. – RSS
