BRAZIL: FRIDAY, MAY 7, 2021 – At least 25 people have been killed and four others injured in a shootout between police and suspected drug traffickers in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

According to police, a police officer was shot dead. The other dead included members of a criminal group, police said.

The shooting happened on Thursday morning, local time. Police said that heroic is taken based on the information of drugs that were hiding in the deception of Jacarezinho, a drug named Jacarezinho. In the process, a large number of police arrived at the settlement with modern weapons.

Scenes posted on social media showed gas bombs exploding and gunshots being fired at several places in the slums. Pictures taken from the helicopter show the armed smugglers fleeing from the roof of the house.
