Singer Sugam remembering Khotange Purkha [Video]

KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MAY 6, 2021 – Very few songs have been composed about his birthplace and ancestry. Singer Sugam Pokharel, who has made a name for himself through his various songs, has released the song ‘Purkha Hai Mera Khotange’, remembering his birthplace and ancestry.

Realizing that the present generation is forgetting its old identity, Sugam has even tried to give a message to the new generation through songs. Nepalis all over the world have expressed their feelings through songs that identity is of Nepali origin wherever they are.

Collected in his 8th song collection ‘Tilasmi Kathmandu’, the song also has easy lyrics. Music is composed by Mohit Munal. The video was shot by Dinesh Thapa (Kaji) and edited by Himal Joshi.
