KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MAY 6, 2021 – South Korea has provided Rs. 452,630 for the construction of Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium, which is being constructed at the grassroots level with the active participation of artists Sitaram Kattel and Kunjana Ghimire.

The money collected in the first phase has been donated to the Dhurmus Suntali Foundation by launching a campaign called ‘Ek Ghanta Ko Kamai, Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium Lai’ from Nepalis here.

The amount was collected with the participation of 107 Nepalis living in Korea. The Dhurmus Suntali Foundation has received the money in the account of the foundation through the social network Facebook.

Campaigners here have said that the aid campaign will continue even after the first phase of the remittance has been sent. Campaigners have even appealed to all Korean sports brothers and sisters for help.

Despite various obstacles in the construction of the cricket stadium, the Dhurmus Suntali Foundation, which is moving ahead with the determination to complete the construction of the international cricket stadium in Nepal, has been called upon to unite. – RSS
