KATHMANDU: THURSDAY, MAY 6, 2021 – As the Covid-19 infection is on the rise in the country, various districts have issued restraining orders to control it. The ban, which started on Baisakh 7, has reached 56 districts so far.

A prohibitory order has been issued in four more districts from today. Prohibitory order has been imposed in Nawalparasi West, Ilam, Dolakha and Sindhupalchowk. In these districts, non-essential services and transportation have been suspended.

Sub-section 2 of the Infectious Diseases Control Act, 2020, the government had given the right to issue prohibition orders or other necessary orders to 200 active people in hilly and mountainous districts and 500 active infected people in Kathmandu Valley and Terai.
