Petrol, diesel price hike in India

NEW DELHI: WEDNESDAY, MAY 5, 2021 – Petrol and diesel prices rose again in India on Wednesday. The prices of these two petroleum products also went up on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, petrol price was hiked by 19 paise per liter and diesel by 21 paise. In the capital, New Delhi, petrol is priced at Rs 90.74 per liter while diesel is priced at Rs 81.12 per liter.

Indian oil companies also hiked prices of petroleum products on Tuesday. Petrol price was hiked by 67 paise per liter and diesel by 18 paise per liter on Tuesday.

State-owned Indian Oil Corporation, BPCL and HPCL have hiked petrol prices by Rs 21.58 per liter and diesel by Rs 19.18 per liter since March last year. – RSS / PTI
