Prohibitory order in Mahottari too
JALESHWAR: WEDNESDAY, MAY 5, 2021 – The District Administration Office has issued a district-wide prohibitory order from today in view of the sharp rise in the infection rate and death of eight people during the second wave of Corona epidemic in Mahottari district.
Chief District Officer Tirtha Raj Bhattarai said that the prohibitory order has been issued as per the decision of the district level COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee to be implemented in 10 municipalities and five villages of the district from 6 am on Baisakh 22 to 12 pm on Baisakh 31.
From today, shops will be opened in every village and town of the district for the purchase of essential daily necessities like food, vegetables, fruits and milk from 6 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm, said Bhattarai. In addition, pharmacies, petrol pumps and hospitals, clinics and health institutions will be open 24 hours a day.
It has also issued instructions to all 15 municipalities of the district to operate 20-bed isolation with oxygen, purchase necessary health supplies, operate all hospitals, meet all health standards while operating offices and businesses, protect consumers from unnecessary fraud in times of crisis and stop black market. It is mentioned in the decision that those who do not follow the decision will be prosecuted as per the Infectious Diseases Act, 2020 and Local Administration Act, 2028. – RSS
