Prohibitory order in Kathmandu Valley till Baisakh 29
KATHMANDU: TUESDAY, MAY 4, 2021 – The prohibitory order issued in Kathmandu Valley is to be extended till Baisakh 29.
On Tuesday, discussions with the Chief District Officers of all the three districts in the Valley as well as the security chiefs decided to extend the ban for another week. Chief District Officer Kali Prasad Parajuli informed that it has been decided to increase the ban by tightening the ban and changing the modalities to control the Corona epidemic.
The first phase of the prohibitory order issued earlier is coming to an end on Baisakh 22 at 12 noon. Similarly, Parajuli said that those who leave the valley at this time will be facilitated. He said that the shop will be open only till 9 am from Baisakh 23 and will be completely closed in the evening. Similarly, Parajuli informed that those who go out except for urgent work will be punished.
According to Parajuli, banks and financial institutions will be able to operate with 20 percent staff in the central office and 25 percent staff in the branch. He said that the service would be provided by 40 percent employees in government offices, ministries and departments.
Similarly, the meeting has decided to expedite the monitoring work to fully implement the injunction.
It has also been decided that those who leave the house without urgent work will be kept in the holding center and fined, and those who do not wear masks should paid Rs 100 fine.
