Nepse rises above Rs 6 billion

KATHMANDU: TUESDAY, MAY 4, 2021 – The stock market rose 1.94 points on Tuesday, the third trading day of the year. The stock market had declined by 12.35 points on Monday.

By the end of trading on Tuesday, the Nepse index had risen 0.07 percent to 475.44 points. On this day, the Sensitive Index has increased by 0.32 points and reached 2654.69 points.

Of the 13 groups that traded on the day, the indices of hydropower, manufacturing and processing, Laghubitta Mutual Funds, investment increased, while the indices of trade, Bittiya group, Bikas bank banking, non-life insurance, life insurance, hotels and tourism group declined.

On this day, 13 million 15 thousand shares of 213 companies have been bought and sold at a price of Rs. 6 billion 5 million 22 million 36 thousand.

Samata Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha ranks first in the market with the highest earnings. In the second place is women’s microfinance financial institution.

Share prices of Samata Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and Mahila Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha have risen by 10 percent.
