Prohibitory order in three districts of State 2
JANAKPURDHAM: TUESDAY, MAY 4, 2021 – A ban has been imposed in three districts of State 2 as the Corona infection situation is becoming alarming. A ban has been issued in Dhanusha, Mahottari and Parsa of State 2 as the number of Corona infections is increasing day by day.
Chief District Officer Bandhu Prasad Banstola informed that a 10-day prohibitory order has been issued in Dhanusha from Tuesday morning. According to Chief District Officer Bastola, the ban was imposed as per the decision of the District Crisis Management Committee meeting held on Sunday.
Similarly, it has been decided to issue a nine-day ban in Mahottari from Wednesday, Baisakh 22 to prevent and control the epidemic. A meeting of the District Crisis Management Committee held on Sunday decided to issue a prohibitory order from 6 am on Baisakh 22 to 12 noon on Baisakh 31, said Mahottari Chief District Officer Tirtha Raj Bhattarai.
Earlier, a district-wide prohibitory order has been issued in Parsa since Baisakh 16. Chief District Officer of Parsa, Pitamber Ghimire, said that the prohibitory order has been issued with effect from 4 am on Baisakh 16 to 12 noon on Baisakh 22.
Prohibitory orders have been issued in all the three districts as per Section 2 of the Infectious Diseases Act, 2020 BS and Section 6 of the Local Administration Act, 2028 BS.
Corona infection is increasing in Dhanusha district after Parsa in State 2. The government has directed the district administration office to issue a prohibitory order as per the need if the number of infected people reaches 200 in the hill districts and 500 in the Terai district.
Apart from urgent work, action will be taken against those who leave the house without a pass, while pharmacies, hospitals and health centers, ambulances and others will remain in operation during the ban.
