Sanima Bank provides Rs 500,000 to the team of Space Foundation Nepal

KATHMANDU: TUESDAY, MAY 4, 2021 – Sanima Bank has provided financial assistance of Rs. 500,000 to Space Foundation Nepal.

With the aim of launching the first Nepali-built satellite Nepali Star-Two into space by Nepalese students, Space Foundation Nepal has been providing training and knowledge to students studying in Nepal’s schools and universities in collaboration with government (Nepal Academy of Science and Technology) and non-governmental organizations.

The team was led by the project manager of the construction / launch team of Nepal’s first space Nepali Star-One, Dr. Abhas Maskey has been leading the ‘Dream Project’.

Students studying in government and private schools from class 10 to 12 have stated that they will form a team to build a satellite called ‘Nepali Star-Two School’ by 2023.

Under this, the bank has provided scholarships to two people involved in Nepali Star One under the corporate social responsibility as training and assistance in space construction / launch.

In support of the exploration and development of science and technology in the country, the founder of Space Foundation Nepal, Dr. The amount has been provided to Avash Maskey.

The founder of Space Foundation Nepal aims to launch a human into space on behalf of Nepal by 2050. Maske explained.

Under its corporate social responsibility, the bank has been providing scholarships to needy and deserving students outside the Kathmandu Valley.
