Prohibitory order issued in 41 districts
KATHMANDU: MONDAY, MAY 3, 2021 – Efforts are being made to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by issuing prohibitory orders from the Chief District Officer in various districts using the authority given by the government.
The number of districts issuing prohibitory orders on a daily basis is on the rise. Prohibitory orders were issued in 29 districts on Saturday. Of the 31 districts issued on Sunday, the order has been issued in 41 districts till this morning, according to the Home Ministry.
The order is being implemented in some districts from tonight and will be implemented in some districts from Tuesday. The ministry said the order was being implemented in most districts.
According to the details received, Banke, Surkhet, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kaski, Kailali, Parsa, Dang, Kanchanpur, Palpa, Chitwan, Rupandehi, Baglung, Bardia, Salyan, Sunsari, Darchula, Jajarkot, Rukum West, Dadeldhura, Jhapa, Morang, Gulmi. Prohibitory orders have been issued in Pyuthan, Kavrepalanchok, Gorkha, Bajura, Udayapur, Makwanpur, Bajhang, Kalikot, Syangja, Ramechhap, Taplejung and Baitadi.
Similarly, the order has been issued in Ramechhap, Taplejung, Arghakhanchi from tonight and in Nuwakot, Dhanusha and Dailekh from Tuesday. Of them, Ramechhap, Taplejung, Syangja, Kalikot, Makwanpur, Bajura, Gorkha, Kavrepalanchok, Morang, Darchula and Baglung have partial injunctions. – RSS
