In India, three thousand 417 people died and three lakh 68 thousand were infected with Covid-19 in one day

NEW DELHI: MONDAY, MAY 3, 2021 – In India, 3,417 people have died in the last 24 hours due to Corona virus (Covid-19) infection.

According to the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 368,000 new infections have been detected in the last 24 hours. Including this, the total number of infected people in India has reached 1 crore 99 lakh.

Last Saturday, the number of daily infections exceeded four lakh, but on Sunday it has come down. In India, 218,959 people have died from Covid-19 infection so far.

According to the ministry, more than 3.4 million people are still actively infected in India. Three lakh people have been infected in the last 24 hours. Including this, out of the total infected in India, 16.2 million have become infection free.

According to the Health Research Council of India, 290 million samples have been tested in India so far. As many as 1.5 million samples were tested in India on Sunday alone.

In India, 157.2 million people have been vaccinated so far in the recent cowardly vaccination campaign.

The second wave of Covid-19 in India has created a state of crisis in the entire country.

According to the World Health Organization, the number of deaths from the Corona virus epidemic has risen to 3.216 million worldwide.
