Deuba called an emergency meeting of the office bearers

KATHMANDU: MONDAY, MAY 3, 2021 – Nepali Congress office bearers meeting is being held in the afternoon. The meeting was convened at 2 pm at the residence of Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba in Budhanilkantha.

After Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli convened a budget session on Baisakh 27, a meeting was convened to form an opinion on the issue, Congress Whip Pushpa Bhusal told Makalu Khabar. According to him, current office bearers and former office bearers will participate in the meeting.

“After the Supreme Court’s decision on Falgun 23, the UML and the UCPN (Maoist) were given a vote of confidence in one of its women,” she said, “It is irrelevant to take a vote of confidence now that Corona infection control is the main agenda.”

She also said that the current political strategy and recent developments in various states will be reviewed in the meeting.
