Safe landing of four astronauts on Earth
WASHINGTON: SUNDAY, MAY 2, 2021 – Four astronauts have landed on Earth via the SpaceX Dragon on Sunday morning. According to the American Space Agency (NASA), the astronauts landed in the sea near Panama City.
The astronauts spent six months at the International Space Station. As soon as they landed in the water, they were taken out by boat. NASA says all four astronauts are OK.
They landed at 2:56 a.m. Sunday on the Florida coastal Gulf of Mexico. It took them six and a half hours to reach Earth from the International Space Station, according to NASA.
Last November, Mitchell Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker and Soichi Noguchi of Japan went into space. When they went into space, they departed from SpaceX, built by Alan Musk.
Seven astronauts are still at the International Space Station (ISS). They reached space via SpaceX last year.
