Two arrested with brown sugar

KATHMANDU: SUNDAY, MAY 2, 2021 – In Kanchanpur, police have arrested two persons with drugs including brown sugar from separate places on Saturday. According to District Police Office, Kanchanpur, Inspector Lal Bahadur Bam, the arrested are Prabhuraj Hamal, 23, of Bhimdatta Municipality-18 and Gopal Rana, 21, of Beldandi Village Municipality-5.

Hamal was arrested from Beldandi Rural Municipalitya-3 Simaldandi area with 10.36 grams of brown sugar. Similarly, 3.90 grams of brown sugar was recovered from Rana while he was coming on a motorcycle (Se 1 Pa 5018). Police have arrested Rana along with his motorcycle and are investigating. Police are also investigating Hamal, who was arrested with brown sugar. -RSS
