KATHMANDU: SUNDAY, MAY 2, 2021 – A ban has been announced in six more districts, partially and completely, as the area of ​​Covid-19 infection has expanded. In addition, restraining orders have been issued in 31 districts.

Of them, it is already being implemented in 19 districts, three districts from 12 noon last night and seven districts from Sunday. Seven of the 31 districts have partial ban.

As per the details received, it has been decided to impose ban in Gulmi, Pyuthan, Kavrepalanchok, Gorkha, Bajura and Udayapur districts today. According to the Home Ministry, partial orders have been issued in Udayapur, Pyuthan and Gulmi districts and other districts.

The order will be implemented in Gulmi from 12 noon last night, Bajura from 5 am and Udayapur from 8 pm on Sunday, while Pyuthan has been implemented from 6 am on Saturday.

According to the announced details, Kavre has 500 meters on the left and right side of the Araniko Highway from Sanga to Banepa Bazaar, 500 meters on the left and right side of the road from Banepa Three Dobato to Nala Bhagwati, 500 meters on the left and right of Banepa-Panauti-Khopasi road. Has been done. The order will be implemented from 12 noon on Sunday.

Similarly, a prohibitory order has been issued in Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality-7 and 8 of Gorkha from 12 noon tonight. A restraining order has been issued in the Himali village area of ​​Bajura district with effect from 8 pm on Sunday.

As announced earlier, the order will be implemented in Morang, Jajarkot and Jhapa from 12 noon last night and in Salyan, Rukum West and Dadeldhura from 6 am on Sunday. Prohibition orders are being issued in various districts after the government gave the authority to issue prohibition orders to the Chief District Officer depending on the situation.

According to sub-section 2 of the Infectious Diseases Control Act 2020, the government has given the authority to issue prohibition orders or other necessary orders in 200 districts in hilly and mountainous districts and 500 active districts in Kathmandu Valley and Terai.

Exercising the same authority, the order is being implemented in Banke, Surkhet, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur, Kaski, Kailali, Parsa, Kanchanpur, Dang, Palpa, Chitwan, Rupandehi and Sunsari. Similarly, partial orders have been issued in Kalikot, Baglung, Bardiya and Darchula. Among the districts where the order has been issued, it is mentioned that vehicles will be operated in a forced system in Kaski, Sunsari and Jhapa.
