Prohibition in Sunsari from Friday night, stop walking except for urgent needs


BIRATNAGAR: FRIDAY, APRIL 30, 2021 – A prohibitory order has been issued in Sunsari with effect from today (Friday). Chief District Officer Umesh Prasad Dhakal informed that a meeting of the District Corona Crisis Management Committee held on Thursday concluded that the infection of Covid has increased.
The federal government has given the local administration the right to issue a 15-day ban.
Cinema halls, party palaces, swimming pools, shopping malls, meetings, conferences, seminars, trainings, seminars, entertainment venues, saloons, beauty parlours, gyms, group sports, libraries and museums will not be allowed under the ban. Driving of private and public vehicles except the essential ones is prohibited.
Food, medicine and health care shops will be available. Permission will have to be obtained from the District Administration Office for a maximum of 15 people following the health norms for marriage / fasting.
Mandatory to pass for the urgent: Chief District Officer Dhakal informed that in case of public service providers including government offices, vehicles can be used with a vehicle pass issued by the concerned ministry or department. It has been said that in the case of labor and means of transportation required in the construction work, it should be operated on the basis of the recommendation of the concerned project or office head.
Businesses other than food and medicine and health care shops have been closed. Food stalls, grocery rooms will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., but specified health standards must be followed.
According to Dhakal, government employees, banks and financial institutions, insurance and cooperatives and employees working in financial institutions licensed by the National Bank of Nepal can be relocated on the basis of the identity card issued by the office.
