KMC conducted a free camp with Corona Awareness

KATHMANDU: TUESDAY, APRIL 27, 2021 – A free health camp with Corona awareness has been conducted in Gokarneshwor Municipality-4 of Kathmandu.

The camp was conducted by Kathmandu Medical College at Sinamangal in collaboration with local Newari organization Kisigal Gwahali Pucha. The camp, conducted at a local Uttar Bahini school, provided information on corona symptoms, prevention measures and precautions to be taken in case of infection, KMC said.

On the same occasion, free health check-ups were also conducted for the patients. Narayan Dahal, general manager of KMC, informed that 1,123 people were tested in the camp.

According to him, out of those tested, 205 had lab test, 192 had ECG and 185 had video X-ray. Meanwhile, KMC has stated that the teeth of 55 patients with dental problems have been opened.
