11 principals who do not close schools arrested, action will be taken as per Infectious Diseases Act
KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 26, 2021 – Eleven school principals have been arrested for defying the government’s decision. Saptari Chief District Officer Phanindra Mani Pokharel told Makalu Khabar that the principals of 11 schools in Saptari Rajbiraj have been arrested. “We did not accept them more than once,” Pokhrel said. “Then we were forced to take such steps.” This has to be done after disobeying the government’s decision. ‘
Those taken under control have been kept at the District Police Office. Pokharel said that action would be taken against them as per the Infectious Diseases Act-2020. “After disobeying the decision, action will be taken according to the law,” said Pokharel.
The government had ordered the closure of schools in Rajbiraj last Monday. On the contrary, some schools were opened here.
