Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali informed that the meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar at 5 pm. “Yes, the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers is about to take place,” Minister Gyawali told Makalu Khabar. “It discusses other issues, especially the recommendations made by the CCMC.”
A meeting of the CCMC on Sunday had recommended a nationwide lockdown. The CCMC had recommended the government to impose a ban, if not a shutdown.
Similarly, it was recommended that the District Covid Crisis Management Center (DCCMC) could impose a ban on 200 infected people in hilly areas and 500 in urban areas. Today’s meeting will specifically discuss and decide on this issue.
