Woman dies in motorcycle accident

DAMAK: SUNDAY, APRIL 25, 2021 – A woman has died in a motorcycle accident in Birtamod, Jhapa. The deceased has been identified as Susana Rai, 27, of Arjundhara Municipality-7.

According to the Traffic Police Office, Rai was killed when motorcycle (May 10 Pa 5520) heading from west to east met with an accident at Ramchowk in Birtamod Municipality-2 of Jhapa on Saturday evening.

She succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment at Birtamod-based Birta City Hospital, police said. Police have arrested rider Suman Thapa, 30, of the same place for investigation. – RSS
