Nobel treatment for infertility began

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, APRIL 23, 2021 – The Nobel Teaching Hospital in Biratnagar has started treatment of infertility and artificial insemination service. An IVF center has been set up to treat infertile couples and have children through artificial insemination.

The IVF center, including the largest IVF training center in Nepal, has been inaugurated in the middle of a program. Homadevi Neupane, mother of Nobel Hospital Director Dr. Sunil Sharma, cut the ribbon and inaugurated the IVF Center.

Speaking on the occasion, Indira Sharma, Managing Director, Nobel Hospital, said that the IVF center was set up to target couples who are having problems with childlessness.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shanti Subedi, Head of the IVF Center and Senior Gynecologist, said that the childless couple is no longer obliged to travel far for treatment.

Nobel has operated the IVF center at a cost of Rs 39.5 million. Nobel laureates are now being treated for any kind of treatment for childless couples in any country.

The Nobel Hospital has stated that Nepal’s largest training center for IVF related training has also been set up along with the operation of the IVF center.
