Ncell building a playground in Lainchaur

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, APRIL 23, 2021 – Ncell Axiata Limited is constructing and conserving the Lainchaur ground in the heart of Kathmandu under its business social responsibility. The company has stated that the green park with playground to be constructed under the project will contribute to the construction of clean, neat and green city.

Under the environment sector, Ncell in collaboration with the Department of Forest and Soil Conservation has been constructing and conserving greenery in the green belt area of ​​the Kalanki road section from Koteshwar. Ncell has stated that its objective is to contribute to the protection of the environment by developing and conserving the greenery of this road section which is about 10.2 km long.

Earlier, Ncell had planted 50,000 saplings in 33 hectares of land in Dhanushadham Protected Forest and also conducted public awareness programs in Dhanusha on tree planting and environmental protection and promotion. Following the successful implementation of this initiative, the government has also declared Dhanushadham Protected Forest as an ‘open grazing and free zone of irregular erosion’.
