Nepal Bank to issue bonds of Rs. 3.5 billion from 22 Baisakh

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, APRIL 23, 2021 – Nepal Bank Limited is going to open the sale of bonds worth Rs. 3.5 billion from Baisakh 22.

NRB said in a statement on Friday that it was going to sell the bonds at an annual interest rate of 8.5 percent.

Out of 3.5 million units at the rate of Rs. 1,000 per unit, 1.4 million units have been allocated for the general public. 5 percent of this has been allocated for collective investment funds. 2.1 million shares will be sold individually.

Nabil Investment Banking Limited has been appointed as the sales manager for the sale of bonds. Applications have to be submitted from Baisakh 22 to Jestha 5. Applications can be submitted for a minimum of 25 and a maximum of 300,000 lots.
