Corona to 332,000 more in one day in India

KATHMANDU: FRIDAY, APRIL 23, 2021 – More than 300,000 people in India have been infected with Covid-19 in a single day. Corona infection has been confirmed in 332,503 people in the last 24 hours alone.

This is the first case of such a large number of infections in a single country within 24 hours. Earlier, on January 2, 300310 people were infected in the United States on the same day. This is the ninth day that more than 200,000 people in India have been infected daily.

In the last 24 hours, 2,256 people have died in India, according to WorldDometers, a site updating data on Covid-19. The number of infected people has reached 1,62,57,309.

So far, 186,928 people have died by Corona and more than 1 crore 36 lakh 41 thousand have been infected. There are currently more than 24 lakh 28 thousand active infections in India.
