Watching Cricket without the fear of Corona (photos)
KATHMANDU: WEDNESDAY, APRIL 21, 2021 – A new variant of the Corona virus is spreading the infection day by day.
The government has already implemented various measures to control it and has even stopped the daily activities in some places.
But as Nepal and the Netherlands competed in a triangular T20 cricket match at the Tribhuvan International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, the crowd of spectators from outside the stadium seemed to be wondering, “Is there no Corona infection?”
Although there were few people coming to watch the game at the beginning of the game between the two countries on the field, people were scattering to watch the game from outside the fence set up around the field.
Ticketing for the game was halted after the government said it would not allow more than 25 people to gather. The cut tickets were also returned‚ but people were watching the game at their own risk, as if to say, ‘Mustache does not block the mouth to eat.’
People were watching the game, even climbing trees. Many in the crowd did not even have masks on their faces. While the government is making public various criteria to reduce Corona infection day by day, it also pays attention to the implementation of those criteria to reduce the potential risk of Corona infection in the future!
