2300 benefited from KMC’s health camp
KATHMANDU: TUESDAY, APRIL 20, 2021 – Kathmandu Medical College at Sinamangal in Kathmandu has run free health camps at Kepilasgadhi in Khotang and Dhulikhel in Kavre. Two free health camps have been conducted in Kepilasgadhi and one in Kavre.
Narayan Dahal, general manager of KMC, said that 1,164 patients were treated free of cost in Kepilasgadhi and 1,145 in Dhulikhel. The camp has been organized at Prithvi Secondary School in Kepilasgadhi Rural Municipality-4 in collaboration with Kepilasgadhi Municipality and Nepal Red Cross Society Waksila.
Video X-rays of 213 people, lab tests of 201 people and ECG of 125 people have been done in the camp. The teeth of 21 people with dental problems have been extracted.
According to KMC, 216 people underwent video X-ray, 197 underwent lab test and 195 underwent ECG at the camp in Dhulikhel. Social worker Dr. Sunil Sharma assumed the responsibility of KMC chairman, KMC has been continuing to run free health camps lately.
