Chirayu National Hospital brings special services for paralyzed and kidney patients
KATHMANDU: MONDAY, APRIL 19, 2021 – Chirayu National Hospital has started a special service for neuro-related patients.
Chandreshwar Baidya, the operating director of the hospital, said that the Department of Neuroscience provides specialist services to the paralyzed patients as there is a risk of death due to non-receipt of timely services despite the neuro-sensitive service.
They are the first ‘Hyper Acute Stroke Unit’ to provide such services from the department. Lekhjung Thapa claims.
The hospital has also started a ‘Hemodialysis Center’ on the occasion of the eighth year of service. The 12-capacity center will provide ICU dialysis, emergency ICU dialysis and kidney transplant counseling. Dr. Upendra Joshi is incharge of ‘Hemodialysis Center’.
