A fire at the farm killed 40 goats

JHAPA: SUNDAY, APRIL 18, 2021 – Forty goats have died in a fire at a goat farm in Jhapa. The fire broke out at Jyoti Bimli’s goat farm in Jhapa Buddhashanti Gaupalika-4 Devi Basti.

According to the State Police Office, Biratnagar, the fire that broke out at 12 last night destroyed Bimali’s goat farm, 40 goats in the farm and goat feed. It is estimated that about 6.5 million acres of land was destroyed by the fire.

The fire was brought under control only in the morning with the help of fire brigade, police and locals. The cause of the fire could not be ascertained.
