Infected woman dies while undergoing treatment in Bheri
KATHMANDU: SUNDAY, APRIL 18, 2021 – Nepalgunj Medical College has conducted Covid ICU and isolation in Teaching Hospital Kohalpur as corona virus infection is increasing in Banke.
Dr. Nitesh Kumar Kanodia, Assistant Director of Kohalpur Teaching Hospital, said that a 15-bed ICU and a 30-bed isolation ward have been set up in the hospital keeping in mind the rapidly increasing rate of Corona infection and death rate.
According to him, the hospital, which provided direct services to the people of Lumbini, Karnali and Far-Western states even in the first wave of Corona virus, had removed the Covid ward as soon as the Corona infection rate was reduced.
Death of an infected person
An infected person died this morning while undergoing treatment at Bheri Hospital in Nepalgunj, Banke.
A 37-year-old resident of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolis-11 Narayanpur of Dang died at Bheri Hospital, Nepalgunj while undergoing treatment, said Tej Wali, a Corona source in Banke.
According to him, the Corona was confirmed in the PCR test conducted in the laboratory of Kohalpur Teaching Hospital on April 10 after seeing health problems.
Corona died at 1:27 a.m. this morning while being treated at the Covid ward of Bheri Hospital after being confirmed.
