More than 200,000 infected, more than 1,000 die in India in 24 hours

AGENCY: FRIDAY, APRIL 16, 2021 – Corona epidemic is spreading rapidly in India. There is a health crisis in big cities and there is a shortage of beds for patients in hospitals.

In the last 24 hours alone, more than 200,000 people have been found infected in India. According to the Union Ministry of Health, 2,17,353 Corona have been found infected in a single day across the country. A total of 1,185 people have died in a single day due to the infection.

For the second day in a row, more than 200,000 people have been infected and more than 1,000 have died in India. The capital Delhi has become the epicenter of Corona.

As many as 17,000 corona infections were found in Delhi alone on Thursday, killing more than 1,000 people. Curfew has been imposed in various states of India as corona infections have increased.
